The House
Made by HAND,
meant to LAST.
SANAA was founded in 2019 on a single idea: that the abaya — at its best — is an exercise in restraint. Form, material, fit. Nothing more.

Chapter 01
An argument AGAINST
the SEASON.
Fashion works on a calendar. A SANAA piece does not. We source from looms in Kyoto, Bukhara, and Florence — ateliers that have refused to change for centuries.
The result is a garment you buy once, alter across your life, and hand down when you are done with it.
Our Discipline
Three we will NOT COMPROMISE.
01
Material
We source from looms that have worked for generations — Kyoto crepe, Bukhara silk, Florence velvet. The cloth chooses the piece.
02
Hand
Every garment passes through the hands of named artisans. Cutting, embroidery, finishing — nothing is subcontracted, nothing is rushed.
03
Fit
Seven sizes, one shape per piece, cut across thirty-two measurement points. Alterations offered for the life of the garment.
The Ateliers
Three cities, ONE DISCIPLINE.

Bukhara
SilkMulberry silk drawn by master weavers across three generations — the same loom, the same cadence.

Kyoto
Crepe & PearlJapanese crepe and freshwater pearls set by artisans whose training begins at twelve and continues for life.

Florence
VelvetItalian velvet, hand-brushed and finished — a house process unchanged since the Renaissance guilds.
